BYU Philharmonic: From the New World

Join the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra as we journey from the Old World to the New. The program will open with Brahms’s Tragic Overture, conducted by graduate student Vanese McPherson. Guest conductor Marcelo Jardim will round out the first half with Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Choros No. 6. The program will finish with Dr. Shawn Smith leading the orchestra in Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World.”
