Murdock Canal Trail is a scenic paved pathway that stretches for about 17 miles through several communities in Utah Valley. Built over an enclosed irrigation canal and opened in 2013, the trail offers a smooth, mostly flat route that is popular for walking, running, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, and scooters. An adjacent dirt path allows for equestrian use. The trail is well marked with quarter-mile markers and features established trailheads with restrooms and water approximately every three miles. Accessible from multiple points throughout Utah County, the Murdock Canal Trail is a convenient and enjoyable outdoor route for recreation year-round.
